FALLEN COMRADES

We come to a land, under tyrant rule
To help other families, treated so cruel
Leaving our loved ones, a sense of unkown
A world apart, we were flown

Here with a knowledge, and training so great
But knowing inside, some say it's fate
We hope to survive, and do the job right
Whether on patrol, or in a firefight

As soliders in conflict, we risk it all
Always hoping, not to see our friends fall
We block our minds, to the great sacrifice
To have others say, they paid the ultimate price

For our crew, we have seen it all
Several of our friends, they did fall
In the face of an enemy, more like a ghost
But in this place, they are the host

As for our friends, we have said goodbye
But brothers in arms, they will never die
They live in our hearts, till our last days
Then along side them, we shall lay
