Une plaque, qui rend hommage aux paroissiens qui ont donné leur vie, a été dévoilée en 1922 à l’église St. Mary the Virgin, 36, avenue Westmoreland. La première église St. Mary the Virgin était située à l’angle nord-ouest des rues Bloor et Delaware jusqu’en 1914, année où un nouveau bâtiment a été érigé sur l’avenue Westmoreland. En 1966, l’église a fusionné avec l’église St. Cyprian’s, avenue Manning, pour former l’église St. Mary the Virgin & St. Cyprian’s, qui a fermé ses portes en 2002.
