Avec sa famille, Iris, épouse de l’ancien Sergent d’état major William Hall, des Winnipeg Rifles, a érigé ce monument à Selkirk (Manitoba), en 1987, en l’honneur de son conjoint et des officiers et hommes du 108e Bataillon d’infanterie du Corps expéditionnaire canadien.

In memory of William Hall 1916 - 1986 renowned military historian former Staff Sgt. Royal Wpg Rifles life member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 42. This stone was erected by his wife Iris and family.

Sacred to the memory of the officers and men of the 108th Infty Battalion C.E.F. Selkirk, Manitoba. They were barracked near this site on the Red Feather Farm 1916
