The Cenotaph at Memorial Park in St. Catharines, Ontario, was dedicated on August 7th, 1927 by the Prince of Wales (future King Edward VIII), and unveiled by Brigadier General W. B. M. King, C.M.G., D.S.O. The names of St. Catharines men who died as a result of their service during World War I are listed on two bronze tablets located at City Hall.

Lieut. A. F. McKinlay while on leave in England, possibly in the summer of 1916/1917. It is possible that the photograph was taken by his older brother, Major James Murray McKinlay, who had also enlisted in the Canadian Army, but fortunately survived the war to return home to his beloved country.

ANNEXE DU CIMETIÈRE COMMUNAL DE HANGARD Somme, France
Hangard est un village du département de la Somme situé à 5 kilomètres au sud de Villers-Bretonneux, dans la vallée de la Luce. Le cimetière communal de Hangard se trouve un peu à l'est du village, du côté nord de la route qui mène à Demuin. L'annexe est du côté ouest du cimetière communal.
