Charles was born in Calgary Alberta on July 31st 1882 and later moved to the United States. Husband of Eva Bagley Kirk of Lompoc CA. He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Sept. 4th 1918 listing prior military service
with the U.S.Army as follows
14th U.S.Cav. 1900-03
23rd U.S.Inf. 1903-06
12th U.S.Inf. 1907-10
1st U.S.Marine Corps 1910-14
He listed his occupation in Lompoc CA as "Sawyer Forman" (Chalk & Stone Quarries) He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Oct. 13th 1918 at the age of 36. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
