This locket is inscribed CHS for Cecil Hart Stevens and was probably worn by his mother, Emma Mary Randall Stevens. Inside are two pictures. One is of Rozell Stevens, father of Cecil Hart Stevens, a Methodist minister and the other picture is of Cecil Hart Stevens.

Cecil had a twin brother, Charles Allison (February 24, 1893 - June 8, 1893); they were born in Somerset, Bermuda, where their father was a minister for a time.

The locket was in the jewel box of my mother, Betty Jean Stevens Scott, and was probably given to her by her parents when Mary Emma Randall Stevens died.
