Within the front foyer of St. Paul Street United Church (currently Silver Spire United Church) located at 366 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines, ON, are three memorial plaques. One of which bears the names of those of the congregation who gave the greatest gift for their country and fellow man. The names of the two Griffiths brothers, Edward and Howard are commemorated. There are four large plaques located at St. Catharines Collegiate. The names of former students who served in the armed forces are noted. Those who paid the ultimate price have a small silver star placed at their name. Howard Griffiths’ name is listed and bears the silver star.

Cimetière de guerre de Gradara Italie
Le cimetière de guerre de Gradara est situé dans la commune de Gradara, dans la province de Pesaro, à 1,5 kilomètre environ des côtes de la mer Adriatique. Pour se rendre au cimetière de guerre de Gradara, quittez l'autoroute A14 (Bologne-Tarante) à Cattolica, qui est une station balnéaire et la ville la plus proche du cimetière. Ce dernier se trouve à 5 kilomètres au sud-ouest de la ville, sur la route principale.
Le cimetière occupe un site exceptionnel au flanc d'une colline aménagée en terrasses pour l'agriculture. Chaque rangée de tombes occupe une terrasse. Le site a été choisi en novembre 1944. Y sont inhumés les soldats tués durant la progression des troupes d'Ancône à Rimini, qui permit de rompre la ligne gothique, et lors des durs combats autour de Rimini, prise par les Alliés le 21 septembre 1944.
