2279 Lieutenant Angus Frederic Galloway (RMC 1931) was the son of Frederic W. and Edith A. GallowaY, of Duncan, British Columbia, Canada. He earned a B.A., Hons. (Cantab.). He was awarded the Governor-General's and the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario's Medal at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston. He was also awarded the Fowke Memorial Medal (Chatham). He served with the Royal Engineers, 59 Field Coy. He died on May 31, 1940 at 25 years of age. He was buried in De Panne Communal Cemetery, Belgium Plot 3. Row A. Grave 31.
