near to the crash site of EB 134 at Ryehill, Lavally Tuam Co Galway on 5th August 2007. It was attended by over 400 people including relatives of the seven airmen, some of whom travelled from the United States of America, Scotland and Britain, along with Ambassadors and dignitaries from Canada, Australia and Britain. The Irish Air Corps gave a spectacular display of Five Pilatus PC-9M aircraft. They flew over the ceremony and arrived perfectly on time, at 3 pm sharp, while the role of honour was been read. The display lasted for ten minutes and a very moving solo display for five minutes. The remarkable day ended with refreshments in Lavally National School, where a model of the plane made by the school children was on display.
