His name is listed on the the Medicine Hat cenotaph in Riverside Park, Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Grave of my Uncle, Ken Cannings, in the community grave yard in Welvelgen, Belgium. He was one of four crew of a Halifax bomber who perished. Three of the crew survived as POWs. Reported that he died on the church steps of Welvelgen because his parachute did not open. The inscription was written by my grandfather.

CIMETIÈRE COMMUNAL DE WEVELGEM Belgique
Le CIMETIÈRE COMMUNAL DE WEVELGEM est situé à 22 km à l'est du centre-ville d'Ypres sur la Meenseweg N8 reliant Ypres à Menin (Menen), à Wevelgem et à Courtrai.
La Meenseweg N8 sert de voie d'accès à Wevelgem. Du centre-ville d'Ypres, la Meenseweg est rejointe par la Torhoutstraat et par la Basculestraat à droite. La Basculestraat se termine à un carrefour principal, après lequel commence la Meenseweg.
Le cimetière est situé à l'intersection joignant la Moorselestraat et on y accède par la Vanackerstraat N8.
