The person who I’ve given the contract to cut my lawn or remove the snow during the winter is a Dutchman and his name is Boxtel. He’s from Boxtel, Holland, you see, and the town was named after him and this is the same town that I was in and stayed at his house, his father’s place during the war. A group of us, you know, were dug in. And then down the road there’s another place called Estes in Holland, and in this place he married a woman there and we were at Estes too and we had a Christmas party for the children in that area during the war, and I remember all these children we took into a school and we gave them all our sweets and candies and made little boxes for them and his wife is one of the children that remembered that. So I’m saying, “You see that, after all I did for you, the government is paying me money to keep you alive.”
