218 Lt Col Robert Cochrane Morris (RMC 1885) was the son of the Hon. Alexander Morris, of Toronto, Ontario. He was the husband of Emily C. Morris. He entered the British Army in 1890. Trained and took out No. 17 Siege Bty. to Gallipoli in 1915. He served with the Royal Garrison Artillery, 80th Group. He died on 25 Mar 1917. He was buried in the Montreil British Cemetery in Nievre, France.

CIMETIÈRE BRITANNIQUE DE MAROEUIL Nievre, France
Maroeuil est un village du département du Pas-de-Calais situé à 6 kilomètres au nord-ouest d'Arras, entre les routes qui mènent à Houdain et à Aubigny.
Le cimetière britannique se trouve au bout d'un chemin au nord de la route menant à Bray et à Écoivres (C1).
