Soldat John Crook

He indicated on his Canadian military attestation that he worked as a carpenter and had prior military experience with the 1st Cheshire Regiment. He enlisted in Toronto on August 16th, 1915 with the 83rd Battalion CEF. His brother was Pte. Stephen Henry Crook, 285366, who enlisted with the 220th York Rangers in Toronto on May 29th, 1916. Pte. CIMETIÈRE MILITAIRE ADANAC Somme, France
Miraumont est un village situé à quelque 14,5 kilomètres au nord-nord-est d'Albert. Le cimetière se trouve à 3 kilomètres environ au sud du village, du côté est de la route menant à Courcelette (D107). Il y a des panneaux annonçant la direction du cimetière dans le centre de Miraumont.
