Farrell, John Patrick - Pilot Officer. Born 6th February, 1920, at Hamilton, Ont. Educated at Cathedtal High School, Hamilton. Entered the service of the Bank 8th March, 1937. Served at Hamilton city branches. Enlisted 8th February, 1941, from Delta (Hamilton) in R.C.A.F. Corporal 5th April, 1943; Pilot Officer in April, 1944. Trained at Toronto, and Dartmouth, N.S. Overseas in December, 1941. Attached R.A.F. Served with 417 Squadron in North Africa and Middle East. Attached to Headquarters, Middle East Command, R.C.A.F., in August, 1943. Killed on active service in Middle East 24th September, 1944. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>

CIMETIÈRE DE MAALA Yémen
Maala se situe dans la péninsule d'Aden au sud du port d'Aden, à mi-chemin entre le « Steamer Point » et Crater sur la route principale au sud de l'aéroport de Khromasksar. Le cimetière se trouve au sud de la route principale de Crater.
