Habkirk, Ramsay MacKenzie - Flying Officer. Born 4th January, 1922, at Wingham, Ont. Educated at Wingham Public and High Schools. Entered the service of the Bank 2nd July, 1940. Served at Wingham. Enlisted 7th March, 1942, from that branch in R.C.A.F. Pilot Officer in August, 1943; Flying Officer in February, 1944. Trained at Toronto, and St. Johns, Que. Overseas in August, 1943. Reported (10th August, 1944) missing after air operations. Officially presumed dead 24th September, 1945. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>
