During World Wars I and II 64 million lives
were lost and many more changed forever.
Canada's military served honourably and
their great sacrifice forges a new world.
Not only did this win freedom, it shaped the
identity of a nation and earned Canada new
found respect around the world.

Since the end of the Second World War
Canada's military has served in
KOREA 1950 - 1953
and as
PEACEKEEPERS
ongoing since 1956

May this tribute stand as testimony to all
those men and women who have served
Canada and the world in the most noble of
all causes... PEACE.

Let your service and sacrifice replace the pain
and anguish of war with a world of harmony,
freedom and justice for all.

"We stand on guard for thee"
