Making online services better for Veterans

To make things better for members of the CAF and RCMP, and all Veterans and their families... for you.

Why are we making changes?

Our mission is to provide exemplary, client-centered services and benefits that respond to the needs of Veterans, our other clients and their families.

To that end, we want to ensure the information about services and benefits is easy to find and understand.

You can help Veterans

You can help Veterans by taking part in user research and testing. The mission is to provide services and benefits that meet the needs of Veterans, still serving members of the CAF and their families.

Additional information

What is a user research tester?

You will test our products, which can include webpages, letters, or forms. You may also be asked to participate in interviews, comprehension studies and more. The problems that user research testers find help us improve our products for all Veterans. By doing this, user research testers make the products easier to find, understand and use. As a user research tester, you can become an important part of our work.

What do I need to become a user research tester?

All you need is a computer with internet access and a phone. There is no technical knowledge required. You will be asked to complete a task and tell us your experience.

How much of my time is required?

Sessions are scheduled at your convenience and can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Becoming a user research tester is voluntary and compensation is not provided. You can help us from the comfort of your home or office as the sessions are held by video conference.

How will I be asked to participate?

When we run a test or need your input, we will send out an email to anyone matching the audience we’re targeting, and interested participants are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. User research testing is always voluntary.
