Mr. Aurèle Rousselle is a Veteran of the Second World War and is a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion. As a Legion member for more than 60 years, Mr. Rousselle has held many executive positions including Vice-President, President and Zone Commander. He is currently Executive Director of the Poppy Campaign. Mr. Rousselle is the founder and current President of the Veterans of the Acadie (North Shore) Peninsula. He continues to meet weekly with Veterans and their dependents to ensure they are receiving the benefits to which they are entitled. He will further follow up by visiting the district Veterans Affairs Canada office to verify the status of an application. He is known as a man who is willing to put in as many hours as required to ensure that Veterans' concerns are attended to. Mr. Rousselle is well known in his community for his devotion to Veterans.
