Mr. Grenier is a Veteran of the Second World War. He has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 48 years, and is currently a member of Branch 249. Mr. Grenier actively participates in Veterans Week and in other commemorative activities to commemorate Veterans and their sacrifices. He often attends ceremonies at schools to inform young Canadians about the legacy of Veterans. Mr. Grenier also helps Veterans fill out their benefit requests and provides direction on how they can benefit from the services offered by Veterans Affairs Canada. In 2008, Mr. Grenier was awarded a medal from the National Assembly of Quebec for his volunteer work.
