Mr. Mills is a retired Lt. Colonel from Canada's Air Force Reserve. During his last years in the Reserve, he was involved with the restoration of a derelict F2H3 McDonnell Banshee aircraft. Once fully restored, the aircraft was sent from Toronto to Ottawa, where it is currently on display at the Canadian Aviation Museum. Following that, Mr. Mills began researching the story of the Banshee jet fighter operations in the Royal Canadian Navy. After much research, travel, and many interviews, the book "Banshees in the Royal Canadian Navy" was self-published. Currently, Mr. Mills is finalizing his next book, "The Canadian Airmen and Airwomen in the Korean War." This 12-year project has involved lengthy and arduous research, and includes 600,000 words, 1,400 photos and the design and commissioning of 18 new artworks depicting the topic. The artwork will be displayed in museums across Canada. Mr. Mills is also currently designing and constructing a display cabinet for the National Air Force Museum of Canada in Trenton, Ontario, which depicts Canada's involvement in the Korean War. Mr. Mills is an Honorary Member of the Canadian Naval Air Group, the Korea Veterans Association of Canada, the Canadian Aviation Historical Society, the Canadian Aviation Artists Association, and the Air Force Association.
