Carl Garber

Mr. Garber is a Veteran of the Second World War. He has been an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion since 1992. He is currently serving his third term as Branch President. Mr. Garber has also been involved with his Branch's annual Poppy Campaign for the past 17 years. Mr. Garber was instrumental in having the City of Côte St. Luc, set aside some land and name it "Veterans' Park." He was also responsible for the fundraising efforts in having a cenotaph created. Mr. Garber encourages his fellow Legion comrades to visit Veterans at Ste. Anne's Hospital at least twice a year and provides money for these visits. Under Mr. Garber's leadership and fundraising efforts, many local hospitals and Veterans have benefited from generous donations.
