Mr. Dupee is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Wanting to raise awareness of his personal experience with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among other soldiers and Veterans, he created the website Military Minds. Mr. Dupee quickly determined that his situation, dealing with the stressors of returning home from war, was not unique and credits the website for facilitating new contacts, creating bonds and building friendships. Military Minds has since evolved to include the social media platform Facebook, with followers from across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. The website and Facebook page provide visitors with a unique insight into the lives of soldiers dealing with PTSD and, for those afflicted, a forum for discussion and peer-to-peer support. Under Mr. Dupee's committed and dedicated leadership, Military Minds organizes charitable events, raises funds through the sale of Military Minds apparel, and accepts donations to help those who have selflessly served our country. The not-for-profit corporation has grown to a membership of 129,000.
