Dale Lamoureux

Mr. Lamoureux served in the Canadian Armed Forces and in 1980 was a civilian member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He has more than 43 years combined continuous service. Among the extensive list of associations Mr. Lamoureux has volunteered with over the years, he is a long standing, dedicated member of the National Aboriginal Veterans Association (NAVA). Mr. Lamoureux has been secretary and president of NAVA’s Manitoba Chapter. On the National Executive of NAVA, Mr. Lamoureux has been secretary and vice-president. He has assisted with the NAVA monument unveiling and parade as well as the NAVA memorial medal parade. Mr. Lamoureux has been responsible for organizing several Aboriginal ceremonies in Ottawa. Mr. Lamoureux is also one of the founding members and the President of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals Jimmy Manitoba Branch. In addition to the above Veterans organization, Mr. Lamoureux has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for more than 20 years and is the Manitoba Director of the Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans Association.
