Canmore, Alberta

Mr. Jones has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) for over 40 years and has served in all elected positions at his local branch and in his zone. He has also been elected to the position of District Commander, which involved travelling to all the branches in his district to promote Veterans Affairs Canada programs and remembrance activities. Furthermore, he was vice-president of the Alberta and Northwest Territories Command of the RCL in 2007 and Command President until 2013. Through Mr. Jones’s leadership and dedication, a program was initiated to assist returning Afghanistan Veterans suffering from operational stress injuries.
