Mr. Donald Cappler is a retired Veteran with 25 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). He is a strong advocate for Veterans and has been actively involved in the celebration of their accomplishments and in the commemoration of their sacrifices. For the past several years, Mr. Cappler has represented Veterans at commemorative ceremonies and events held in his community during Veterans’ Week. He is a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion (RCL), where he held the position of Service Officer, assisting Veterans with their pension claims and with applications for benefits and services through Veterans Affairs Canada. Thanks to his assistance, many Veterans have successfully applied for and received disability pensions. The selflessness and commitment demonstrated by Mr. Cappler to his fellow Veterans has been invaluable to his community.
