Mr. Thériault is a highly engaged volunteer in various organizations, committees and groups within his community of Saint-Quentin. He is particularly dedicated to service ensuring the well-being of Veterans, developing strong bonds through his years of involvement. Mr. Thériault has also been active in the military community with the Canadian Cadet Program and as secretary of messes of non-commissioned officers in various bases and armouries. He has been a service officer with Royal Canadian Legion Branch 65, in Saint-Quentin, assisting Veterans, former Royal Canadian Mounted Police members and widows with their pension and service requests. Mr. Thériault visits Veterans in hospitals and long term care facilities and personally provides transportation to Veterans and accompanies them to medical appointments. He has taken part, coordinated and organized various fundraising activities for a multitude of community and Veterans’ organizations. Mr. Thériault has served as a coordinator for the Atlantic Cadet League, volunteer for the Charlo Air Show and spearheaded a Military Monument project for the municipality of Saint-Quentin. Mr. Thériault has written numerous biographies about Veterans of the Second Word War and Korean War, occasionally contributes to local publications and radio shows and is often a guest speaker at local events.
