A Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Duncan Graham has rendered remarkable service to his fellow Veteran residents in the Kilgour and Hees Wings of the Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre. For many years, Mr. Graham has served on the Veterans and Community Residents Council. In his work on behalf of Veterans, he has been called "brave, canny, vigilant and untiring." Mr. Graham has created beautiful gardens outside the Kilgour Wing, and holds classes in gardening and flowers for the cognitively disabled. He has also created a Welcoming Committee to look after newly-arrived Veterans in the Centre. Mr. Graham has earned the admiration of the staff at Sunnybrook, of his fellow Committee members, and of his fellow residents.
