Mr. Guindon is a Veteran of the Korean War and has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than 20 years. He is tireless in assisting Veterans and their dependants in his community to ensure they receive necessary services, benefits and emotional support. Mr. Guindon is well respected and trusted by his comrades and is well known for his understanding and compassion. He often consoles Veterans and their families after the loss of a loved one. Mr. Guindon was a volunteer driver with the Cancer Society for 12 years, bringing patients to treatments and appointments. In addition to supporting local Veterans, Mr. Guindon is active in his church and is a fourth degree Knight of Columbus who has worked on several committees which promote the welfare of children.
