Mr. Florent Tremblay has held several positions in the Canadian Forces (CF), notably in the fields of teaching and school administration as part of NATO activities. He joined the CF Forces as an instructor for several Cadet Corps in the area. Actively involved with Veterans in his community, Mr. Tremblay is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion where he attends many activities organized to commemorate the sacrifices and achievements of our Veterans. He participates in the Poppy Campaign and Remembrance Day ceremonies at the St-Jean Garrison. Mr. Tremblay is also a member of the Royal 22e Régiment, for which he is Director of Public Affairs, organizing meetings and getting Regiment members out to activities. He has published articles about the stories and experiences of our Forces members. Mr. Tremblay visits Ste. Anne's Hospital on a regular basis to offer the Veterans moral support. He also made an important contribution to the success of the activities that marked the Year of the Veteran in the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu area.
