Mr. Mann is a Second World War Veteran who has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than 60 years. He has taken on several roles during this time, including branch president for five years, vice-president for six years and a host of other positions, including Sergeant-at-Arms, membership chairman and director. Since 1948, Mr. Mann has been involved with the Sherbrooke Fusilier Association, serving five years as director and currently serving his fifth year as Vice-President. Mr. Mann has also dedicated his time to helping today's youth understand the sacrifices made by Second World War and current-day Veterans. He was a Cub Master for five years with Scouts Canada. For the last 10 years, Mr. Mann has been visiting schools in the Montréal area, sharing with students, stories, experiences and special memories of his service.
