Mr. Einarson is a Veteran of the Korean War. He has been an active member of Branch 31 of the Royal Canadian Legion (Somme) for more than 40 years. Currently the Service Officer, he provides support to countless in-need Veterans and their dependents, and is always quick to provide assistance in a professional and respectful manner to anyone requiring his help. Mr. Einarson also graciously accepts invitations to speak at public events and ceremonies. Currently, he is a Service Officer on the executive of the Atlantic Chief and Petty Officers Association. Mr. Einarson is also a Service Officer for the Halifax Unit of the Korea War Veterans’ Association. His heartfelt, compassionate approach and impassioned dedication to Veterans are respected and appreciated by many. As a tribute, and in recognition of his selfless service, Mr. Einarson was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
