Mr. Andrews is a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He has been an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for more than 30 years, fulfilling many executive positions. Since 1996, Mr. Andrews has served as a branch service officer as well as a zone service officer for the Legion, where he works tirelessly to ensure Veterans and their dependents receive the benefits to which they are entitled. Mr. Andrews also takes the time to explain policies and procedures in order to ensure a successful outcome, and he assists Veterans in completing application forms. Mr. Andrews is also a past president of the Eastern Ontario Gunners Association and was the local area representative for the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping. An active member of his community, Mr. Andrews is a recipient of the Order of the Canadian Red Cross and has received recognition from the Ontario Provincial Police.
