Mr. Jacques Dussault is a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He has been an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion for the past 25 years. For the past five years, Mr. Dussault worked to collect signatures and submit petitions to have a new street named “Heroes Way” in the urban core of Halifax. On June 21st 2011, following Mr. Dussault’s persistent efforts, the Halifax Regional Council approved the commemorative name application. Mr. Dussault also volunteers to ensure the care and well-being of Veterans while also contributing to the remembrance of their achievements and sacrifice. Mr. Dussault inspires everyone around him with his dedication and caring ways.
