Mr. Lobe' is a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He is a founding member of the Canadian Forces Chilliwack Historical Society and is currently the Vice President. He assists with numerous events, is heavily involved in advertising displays and designs posters. Mr. Lobe' supports an educational event during Veterans' Week at the Chilliwack Museum, and supports the Veterans' Appreciation Lunch. He was involved in a "Support the Troops Rally", the Sappers' Memorial move, reconstruction and beautifying project. Mr. Lobe' is a member of a committee to re condition the CFB Chilliwack Wet Bridging training area and added a memorial plaque to acknowledge two engineers who gave their lives at the location in 1968. Mr. Lobe' was voted volunteer of the month in his home community of Chilliwack.
