Jean-Louis Denis

Mr. Denis is a veteran of the Korea War who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). After his retirement from the Canadian Forces, he pursued a career in the aerospace and defence sector where he has made an outstanding contribution in the private and public sectors. Mr. Denis participates actively in many organizations, including the Royal Canadian Legion and the Air Force Association of Canada. He is currently serving as Director of the Air Cadet League (Quebec), as well as Director of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society. Mr. Denis is immediate Past President of No. 426 (Thunderbird) Squadron Association and a Past President of Montreal's 313 Wing Air Force Association of Canada. Mr. Denis later became President of the Quebec Group of the Air Force Association of Canada and he served on their National Executive as Regional Director. He also founded the Quebec Air and Space Hall of Fame. Mr. Denis has always found time for frequent visits to Ste. Anne's Hospital and he is often called upon to lecture on Canadian Aviation History. His dedicated service has been recognized through many citations and awards including the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal.
