Mr. Brennan is a Veteran of the Korean War. He has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion since 1955 and has held the positions of 1st Vice President and the Nevada Chairman. He works tirelessly to promote Canadian Korean War Veterans and has travelled the country to speak about how Veterans have made a difference. Mr. Brennan championed the creation of the Korean monument which was placed in the Listowel cenotaph park in 2004. He belongs to the Korean Veterans Association in Kitchener and served as the Memorial Chairman, assisting other communities in placing their Korean War monuments. In 2009, the Korean Government awarded Mr. Brennan a medal to thank him for his involvement in the Korean War.
