Mr. Bradley is a retired captain of the Canadian Forces and long-standing member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34. He has been the Branch Service Officer for more than 19 years, assisting Veterans with their pension claims and applications for benefits. Mr. Bradley has represented the Branch at numerous meetings at district and provincial levels, often at his own expense. He has spent countless hours driving disabled Veterans to meetings or to Ste. Anne's Hospital for appointments. During the ice storm of 1998, he ensured proper authorities were informed of the status of the Branch's indigent Veterans. Mr. Bradley is also a familiar face in his community for the numerous other volunteer activities he has undertaken over the years. He is a recipient of the Governor General's Exemplary Service Medal and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal.
