Mr. Faulkner is a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran. A former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch in New Hamburg, Ontario, he served in the executive roles of ways and means officer and sports officer. Currently, Mr. Faulkner volunteers his time with Unit 52 of the Korean Veterans Association of Canada in Kitchener, where he assists with the catering of its many events. A life member of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association, Waterloo—Wellington North Branch, he contributes in multiple capacities. He serves as the Stores and Service Officer and assists with the production of the Veterans’ Week program. He is also involved with the CF Reconnect seminars which inform Veterans of new programs available to them and their families. When he is able to, Mr. Faulkner supports his community by attending Veteran-related parades and commemorative events.
