Mr. Kobolak is a former member of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. For most of his adult life, Mr. Kobolak has been an advocate for Veterans and has unstintingly dedicated his time and effort to their well-being. An active member of the Royal Canadian Legion since 1948, Mr. Kobolak has held senior appointments at all levels of the Legion's organization, including Dominion President, Branch President, District and Zone Commander and Provincial President, Ontario Command. Mr. Kobolak served as a member of the Dominion Executive Council and has chaired the Dominion Track and Field, Ritual and Awards, Membership, and Leadership and Development committees. He was first elected Dominion Vice-President in 1990 and First Vice-President in 1994. Mr. Kobolak is a recipient of the Legion's Certificate of Merit and its Meritorious Service Medal. His exemplary leadership on behalf of Veterans and his contributions to the commemoration of their achievements and sacrifices are testament to his profound commitment to help others.
