After retiring, she became a volunteer with the Ottawa Branch of the Navy League of Canada where she has continued to promote and secure Naval Veteran involvement at ceremonies. Mrs. Foubert has spent many years on the branch fundraising committee with special emphasis on benefiting the Falkland Sea Cadet Corps and the Kingsmill Navy League Corps. She also assisted with the organization and coordination of the annual inspections for both the Sea Cadet Corps and the Navy League Corps. For the past 15 years, Mrs. Foubert has served as Social Coordinator for the Battle of Atlantic working group, which entails acquiring publicity for the Battle of Atlantic functions, and arranging interviews with Veterans, both Naval and Merchant Navy.
