Ms. Ensor is a devoted volunteer who manages working on several committees in addition to a hectic work schedule. She is Zone Commander with The Royal Canadian Legion for Vancouver and Burnaby and is First Vice-President of the Grandview Legion Branch. Ms. Ensor is a flag bearer with the Lower Mainland Colour Party, which occupies most weekends as the Colour Party participates in more than 40 events annually. She organizes and runs several commemorative events including the Mountain View Cemetery event. Ms. Ensor served on the Veterans Service and Seniors Committee which required that she had current knowledge of hospital treatment facilities, day facilities and boarding residences. She is currently Chair of the Public Relations, Promotions and Communications Committee for the British Columbia/Yukon Command. This committee is responsible for developing ideas and materials to assist the work of the Legion in local communities and liaising with Standing Committee Chairmen and the Director of Community and Media Relations to ensure up-to-date information is posted on the Web site. Ms. Ensor also assists with the annual poppy campaign and drives Veterans to locations for poppy donations.
