Reverend Fletcher has been padre to Branch #26 of The Royal Canadian Legion and the Kelowna Naval Veterans Association since 1984. He has been active over the years assisting Veterans in obtaining benefit entitlements. Reverend Fletcher has also provided the use of a wheelchair and other necessities to Veterans in need and their families. He regularly visits five hospitals, nursing homes and retirement centres. Reverend Fletcher introduced and maintained a special benevolent fund called the Tom Morgan Fund that supplied televisions and/or telephones for hospitalized Veterans and their dependents. He is a life member of The Royal Canadian Legion.
