Leonard Pelletier

Mr. Pelletier is a Second World War Veteran and a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He has been an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion for more than 40 years, and for a few years during that time served as Secretary of the Signals Branch. Mr. Pelletier is a life member of the Warriors' Day Parade Council, where he has served as secretary for more than 20 years. The Warriors' Day Parade is the largest running parade of its type and is held at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). Mr. Pelletier is responsible for the distribution of more than 22,000 tickets to Veterans and their families each year to allow free entry to the CNE on the day of the parade. He is a true professional who does not seek accolades for his volunteer work, and he is always willing to offer sage advice and a helping hand.
