Marc Tremblay

Mr. Tremblay is a 30-year Veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for 16 years. He has volunteered his time to assist RCMP Veterans and talk to them about programs and services offered by Veterans Affairs Canada. His efforts include assisting RCMP Veterans obtain pensions for injuries that occurred while they were on active duty. Mr. Tremblay helps promote the Act of Remembrance in the communities where he served. He has also assisted with five overseas pilgrimages visiting First and Second World War battlefields organized for the Armstrong Secondary School, in British Columbia. Mr. Tremblay assisted with the publication of a history book detailing the sacrifices of Veterans from the Armstrong and Spallumcheen communities. In addition, he often represents the Vernon Detachment of The Royal Canadian Mounted Police at memorials to the fallen as well as performs eulogies for Canadian Forces personnel from the Armstrong and Spallumcheen communities.
