Marcel Nault

Mr. Nault is a retired Canadian Forces Veteran. He is President of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 87 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Mr. Nault provides valuable assistance in French presentations at both the local candlelight vigils and the Remembrance Day ceremonies. Mr. Nault is an active fundraiser with the Legion and has served as Poppy Campaign Chairman for the last 3 years. He is currently Deputy Zone Commander of the Legion. Mr. Nault was the driving force behind an initiative to have the street adjacent to the Kirkland Lake cenotaph renamed "Veterans' Way." This became a reality with an official ceremony in November 2009. Mr. Nault has recently assisted a comrade in obtaining replacement medals belonging to his late father, which were stolen prior to his father's death. Mr. Nault is an amateur musician and enjoys entertaining residents at a local nursing home, as well as patients residing at Kirkland Lake Hospital.
