Mrs. Sadegur is the daughter of a Second World War Veteran who has been a devoted and dedicated member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 for more than 40 years. She is a longstanding member of the Executive, including three terms as Branch President, and she also has served at the Zone level including terms as Deputy Commander and Service Officer. In her current role as the Branch Service Officer, she continues to assist Veterans with accessing health care and in dealing with Veterans Affairs Canada. In recognition of her outstanding work, Mrs. Sadegur was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and Life Membership by the Royal Canadian Legion. In 1998, she was named as Woman of the Year for her remarkable work on behalf of Veterans and the citizens of Princeton. Mrs. Sadegur is also the recipient of the Canada 125 Medal.
