Mrs. Vautour is a retired Canadian Forces Veteran who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. She is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, the Royal Canadian Air Force Association (RCAFA) and the Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping (CANVUP). She is a member of the RCL's Membership Committee, and was a member of the Veterans' Committee for four years. She assists with the Legion's community bingo game, has helped raise funds to assist Veterans travelling for medical appointments, and routinely visits Veterans in hospital. Mrs. Vautour is also serving as the RCAFA's Welfare and Regalia Officer and has been a past chairperson of the RCAFA's Welfare and Regalia Committee. She caters to Veterans' banquets, suppers, and other social events at the RCAFA as fundraisers for the organization. As a valued member of CANVUP, she participates regularly in all Veteran-related activities, particularly fund-raising initiatives for the community and Veterans in need.
