Mr. Russell Falshaw

Mr. Falshaw released from the Navy in 1963. He has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) for almost 40 years. Since 2001, Mr. Falshaw has held the position of Service Officer with Branch 82 in Port Credit, Ontario. Over the past 14 years, he has helped many Veterans and surviving spouses to secure pensions and benefits from Veterans Affairs Canada. Mr. Falshaw has ensured that Veterans receive proper burial and markers upon their passing. He held the position of zone service officer for six years, where he assisted other service officers with complicated cases. As a Veteran and a clergyman, Mr. Falshaw is active during Veterans’ Week. He has spoken with many youth groups and schools to help spread awareness and understanding of our military history.
