Padre Lee is a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and an Anglican priest. Since retirement, he has assisted countless Veterans in nursing homes, giving advice on entitlements and other Veterans Affairs Canada benefits. Padre Lee is active in helping to obtain housing for Veterans and raises money to help homeless Veterans. At times, he has taken them into his own home while they await assistance. Padre Lee is a chaplain for the Royal Canadian Legion. He visits schools where he speaks to youth about Canada’s involvement with peacekeeping and military history. Padre Lee also leads the prayer for memorial services at Victoria area cenotaphs. He is a member of the Royal United Services Institute, the Royal Canadian Naval Officers of Vancouver Island and the Airborne Association Bornewest. Outside of his involvement with Veterans, Padre Lee is also a great humanitarian, supporting fundraising for the homeless and needy, visiting nursing homes, and supporting initiatives for children of the third world. Recently, he donated his barrack box to be used as a field medical kit.
