Mr. Baiden is a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran. He was one of the most highly decorated individuals in the cold war naval/maritime aviation. Mr. Baiden has been active in promoting and contributing to the development of the Canadian Naval Air Group (CNAG) for more than 22 years. He has served in a number of executive positions and is currently the National Chairman. Under Mr. Baiden’s guidance, he has altered the focus of CNAG to be a more broadly based and collaborative association. He also ensures that the members of CNAG are well informed on issues affecting their welfare and benefits, and he provides issue-specific guidance. Mr. Baiden is supportive of the efforts of the staff at Veterans Affairs Canada by assisting in their work to plan events and serve the needs of Veterans. He is also a supporter of the Sea Cadet and Navy League Cadet movements, and he ensures CNAG funding benefits Canada’s youth.
